After spending 923 days waiting patiently at our facility, our sweet long-term resident Dawson has finally found his match! ❤️ His days of shelter life are behind him, and he’s off to enjoy all the love, comfort, and adventures he’s always deserved!

FOSTER HOME UPDATE- A Note from Jessie (and her foster parents) ❤

"Hi, I'm Jessie, a 9-month old Coonhound mix, waiting for my forever family to find me.

A little about me ... I'm a lithe 40 pounds with dark hair, floppy ears, and golden eyes. (My foster dad says that I'm beautiful.) I try to keep myself active, chasing toys, doing zoomies, and trying to get my foster brother to play with me. I also love long walks on the beach (or anywhere else for that matter).

I can be a little uncertain with new loud sounds, but I quickly relax, once I know that things are okay.

I would love to meet a family with an active lifestyle, and I wouldn't complain in the least if that family happened to have another dog who likes to play. Just sayin'.

I'm very sweet and affectionate, and love belly rubs. Oh, I almost forgot - I'm spayed, house broken, and crate trained. If you think that you could be my forever family, call DFW Humane Society. I'll be waiting ...

🌙Luna Update!🌙
Our sweet Luna made her way up to Wags & Wiggles Rescue in New Hampshire and is absolutely thriving in her new environment! She’s feeling so much better, now off most of her allergy meds, and her personality is finally shining through ❤ The rescue she’s with offers beautiful nature walks, but Luna has decided she’d much rather be what they've labeled an "air conditioner queen," lounging inside where it's cool. We’re so happy to see her healthy, happy, and living life exactly how she likes it!
