We feed made on site raw food using a Bengal specific recipe that we are happy to share. Kittens are raised underfoot in our 4500 sf house and highly socialized with adult

cats and our Great Pyrenees dog. My wife and I are retired and we devote our full time to raising and socializing the kittens. We do genetic and cardiologist screening on all our adult breeders.. Hypertrophic Cardio Myopathy ( HCM ) affects 13% of Bengals and causes early death of heart failure. The only way to test for it is to annually screen all breeding adults by a vet cardiologist to remove any breeders that show early signs of HCM. PRA and PK Def genes are the other Bengal issues that can cause blindness and anemia. All our breeders are double negative for both genes so there is never a chance that any of our kittens will inherit two of these genes and get the disease. Many Bengal breeders don’t HCM test, or say they do and actually don’t. We do and can provide the parents HCM test and genetic tests to clients before signing a contract. As you evaluate breeder choices make sure to ask for the parents HCM reports and that they have been done in the last 18 mths. Make sure you ask for copies of the parents genetic reports showing they are negative for PRA and PK def genes. We also don’t let the kitten go home before 12 weeks or under 3 lbs. Costs more for us, but kittens are healthier and much better socialized than if they left under 12 weeks. There are some breeders who think kittens can go home at 8 weeks like puppies, but that’s a huge negative as those kittens are not socialized well and tend to have more health and behavioral issues than kittens that have spent the extra 4 weeks with mom and their litter.

1 Purfect Pride has been TICA registered Bengal breeders since 2017 and you can look us up on TICA.org under bengal breeders in California. Verifying a breeders registration with TICA or CFA is a very important 1st step criteria for you in choosing a Bengal breeder. It costs very little to join and register a purebred Bengal litter. Basically only $13 a litter. So unregistered breeders who say they are saving you money by not registering are hiding the fact that they can't register their breeders because they are not pure bred and or have other issues like in breeding or not having breeding rights because they were sold as pet only. Our 3 week old singleton silver girl is turning out very nice. Sounds up for cute squeaks.

Shes reserved but we have a 2 day old litter with silver charcoals and another litter with silver kittens due in 4 weeks.

For our astrology focused folks, they were born between 7pm and 1030pm.

Looks like we have a singleton.
Shakira had a beautiful silver girl last night.

I think she is done. Mom and baby are doing great.

Baby is 105 grams this am which is a good weight.

We are supplementing her with KMR formula and shes doing well.

She is reserved for very patient Los Angeles waitlist clients😺

We have 2 more litters with silvers and mink snows due in 2 and 8 weeks.

Just want to let everyone know that 2 new Bengal litters are coming soon.

Sire for both is our Silver stud, Steele.

Litter number 1 from our Blue queen Shakira is due in 1 to 2 weeks. There will be silver, blue, brown and mink snows in this litter.

Litter number 2 from our Charcoal Lynx Queen Winter is about 4 weeks out.
There will be silver, charcoal, Mink Snow and browns in this litter.

We currently have 2 families on waiting list for silvers and 1 for Mink Snow or Blue.
