Do you remember Star?? She was the kitty found with a kitten stuck in her birth canal and thanks to some fast action by a couple of our volunteers, Star's life was saved! (Her baby did not survive the ordeal). Well, now Star has found her forever home with this young man who has promised to be patient with her as she adjusts to her new life. He wanted to get a selfie with her without totally scaring her so this was his attempt!! We think he did pretty good! Congrats Star and your new dad!!

Can anyone help reach our $60 goal for today??

It's spay a stray Thursday!!

We've been doing this every Thursday since the month of April and because of your donations we've been able to spay and neuter 10 cats from low income families that otherwise would not have gotten them fixed and 5 more that were feral cats from Iroquois County! That is 15 more cats from Iroquois County now spayed and neutered that otherwise would never have gotten done!

Here is one of the feral females we just spayed on Sunday that will now not be producing more kittens in Watseka!

Let's raise $60 today to keep a good thing going and spay and neuter more cats from Iroquois County!

PLEASE SHARE

Someone was bringing their cat this morning to be spayed through our program. As the lady was bringing her inside, the door popped off of her carrier and she ran away. Cats name is Midnight, all black female with a blue collar. If you are around the Iroquois area please keep an eye out! Bring to the shelter if found so we can reunite with the owner!
