The fourth of July can be a very exciting holiday, but not necessarily for your dog.
Please follow these tips to make sure your dog has a fun and stress-free holiday...
๐พ 4th of July Tips from Your Dog ๐ถ๐บ๐ธ
๐ Please don't take me to watch fireworks. I hear them MUCH louder than you do!
๐ช Keep my collar on with my ID tags. Scared dogs sometimes make really bad decisions.
๐ก Let's stay inside when the fireworks start. The couch is way more fun anyway.
๐ Please don't share the barbecue. Onions, grapes, chocolate, corn cobs, cooked bones, and alcohol are NOT puppy-approved snacks.
๐ถ Turn on the TV, radio, or a fan. It helps drown out those scary boom-booms.
๐ฝ Take me potty BEFORE the fireworks begin. I promise I'll thank you later.
๐ Please don't leave me in the car while you celebrate. It's hot, even after the sun goes down.
โค๏ธ If I'm scared, stay calm. Your confidence helps me feel safe.
๐ฆด A stuffed Kong or favorite chew toy keeps my brain busy while the sky is being noisy.
๐ธ Make sure my microchip information is current. Just in case I make a very poor life choice.
๐ถ Pet Parent Reminder
Your dog didn't choose the fireworks.
Your dog DID choose you. โค๏ธ
