The fourth of July can be a very exciting holiday, but not necessarily for your dog.
Please follow these tips to make sure your dog has a fun and stress-free holiday...
🐾 4th of July Tips from Your Dog 🐶🇺🇸
🎆 Please don't take me to watch fireworks. I hear them MUCH louder than you do!
🚪 Keep my collar on with my ID tags. Scared dogs sometimes make really bad decisions.
🏡 Let's stay inside when the fireworks start. The couch is way more fun anyway.
🍔 Please don't share the barbecue. Onions, grapes, chocolate, corn cobs, cooked bones, and alcohol are NOT puppy-approved snacks.
🎶 Turn on the TV, radio, or a fan. It helps drown out those scary boom-booms.
🚽 Take me potty BEFORE the fireworks begin. I promise I'll thank you later.
🚗 Please don't leave me in the car while you celebrate. It's hot, even after the sun goes down.
❤️ If I'm scared, stay calm. Your confidence helps me feel safe.
🦴 A stuffed Kong or favorite chew toy keeps my brain busy while the sky is being noisy.
📸 Make sure my microchip information is current. Just in case I make a very poor life choice.
