We love Pup-Dates! Barley (2026 GMD - formerly Dash) is a big, juicy 61 pounds already! He loves to go to the mountains and boating. He is living the good doodle life!!

So proud of Moose (GMD 2026 - formerly Remy). Look at how smart he is! Training and video credit to augolddog Au Dog Training! They have worked with several Kava Kennels pups and do excellent work!!

Today has been a sad day at Kava Kennels. Mommy Lola’s x-ray showed only 1 baby and today that baby was stillborn. We are so very sad. Mommy Lola is doing good. She spent time saying goodbye and is now getting lots of sofa snuggles and some treats.

Our next litter is planned for Jan/Feb 2027. Please stay tuned for more updates as they become available.

Mommy Lola and son Greg are two peas in a pod. Their exuberance for bones and lake swims is equal! It’s so funny to see them together!

I’m not sure Lola got the “puppy watch memo….😂😂😂😂

Mommy Lola is due this week. We saw our favorite team at Friarsgate-Ballentine Animal Hospital for the puppy count. Doc only saw 1 baby…we are praying a shy baby or two were hiding. Fingers crossed for surprises! As always, we are praying for a healthy puppy and mommy.
