Have a friendly dog who truly loves people?

The University of Iowa has invited Knallhart trained dogs to be part of their upcoming Dog Yoga event, and we’re looking for dogs to join us!!!!

This is a fun, casual, beginner-friendly event, a chance to get out, enjoy a relaxed yoga session, and let your dog interact in a positive, social environment.

They are specifically looking for dogs that are:
🐾 Social and people-friendly
🐾 Comfortable around other dogs
🐾 Able to settle and stay calm in a group setting

If that sounds like your dog, this is such a cool opportunity to be part of something unique.

Kali is an adult, spayed female German Shepherd currently here at the Knallhart Kennels and Training Academy Foster and Training Program and she is looking for her forever home.

Kali is the kind of dog people are hoping to find but rarely do. She has stellar obedience, a great off-switch in the house, and a very stable temperament. She is social and friendly with people and does well with kids, cats, and other dogs.

She is already past the puppy chaos stage and is ready to step into a home where someone can simply enjoy a well-trained, loyal German Shepherd. Kali would do well with a family or individual who wants a companion dog that is both engaged and easy to live with.

Today, I’m proud to officially announce that I am taking over ownership of Bounding Hound, a dog daycare that focuses on social training and offering a unique approach to dog day services.

My vision is clear. We are going to take a great business and make it even better. By aligning it with the structure, leadership, and training philosophy that built Knallhart into what it is today, this next chapter will bring clarity, growth, and an even stronger experience for the dogs and families we will serve.

Knallhart is not going anywhere. These two businesses will function symbiotically, different lanes, shared values, unified leadership.

This is a significant step, and I’m honored to step into it with intention and purpose. I’m excited for what’s ahead. As always thank you to everyone who has continued to support our endeavors in the dog industry!

🚨 THIS IS NOT A DRILL ‼️

March is trying to sneak up on you the same way your dog sneaks snacks off the counter.

Spring break is almost here and we are officially down to the last few board and train spots for March. That means if your dog currently thinks “come” is optional, the leash is decorative, or guests visiting the house is a full contact sport… this is your sign. 🙌🏾

While you’re packing for vacation, your dog could be building real obedience, better impulse control, and the kind of structure that actually sticks when they come home. We train dogs that aren’t just obedient, they are trained for real life. We shape behavior and create clarity so you feel proud walking into any environment.
