We are going to start offering rabbit droppings as we have too much & while we do use some of it for our gardens & flowerbeds, we figured we could offer it!

It will be a pay what you can.
Rabbit manure is a great fertilizer for gardens, flower beds, hanging plants, etc! We use it for all & let me say, it has helped a lot. I don’t have a green thumb, but this makes the plants flourish! It is not a hot fertilizer, unlike what farmers commonly use. Little to no smell. We can provide some bags & have it filled for pick-up. If buckets are preferred, it would be bring your own & we fill it for you or we can have buckets set aside (for up charge). This is to help cover feed cost, so it’s the best of both worlds! You get a beautiful full garden or flowerbed & my rabbits pay for their own feed😆

121 will definitely be staying as she will help continue to improve my herd. Marge was bumped up to a SR class as she is SR. Weight at just over 5mo!! I’m not upset with her placement, her coat isn’t finished & she is currently molting. It was great to see all the foxy friends. Seeing the direction foxes are heading is amazing to see.

We hope everyone had a Hoppy Easter!

We do have rabbits looking to hop in a few weeks, but we do have some available now. I wanted to give a PSA. If you see us comment that we are in Dewitt & Ionia, we are in between 2 locations currently. Almost our entire herd is in Ionia, but I am in Dewitt all week!

If anyone has any questions, feel free to ask questions! We have pairs, trios, and proven brood stock seeking new thumping grounds!

I have a couple of rabbits looking to hop soon!

Pedigreed proven buck (chocolate, does not carry dilute)
We also have some JRs almost ready (currently 12wks) ! Bucks & does, partial pedigree. Chocolate does, black bucks & does. These all have good type. Great growth weights!

Update on our rabbitry-

First off, Gambler. Gambler is from Delta x Keyz, she was my keeper doe & has proven herself; not only on the show table, but also as a brood doe. She will probably be one that stays here for her entire life as she is very special to me. She is homegrown and when not in molt places well. We always hear incredible feedback from judges on her type, as well as some comments as to what she lacks (which we love!!).

I added a doe (Marge) from Ohio Star’s Rabbitry whom I am extremely happy with. She has settled in well and I have never been disappointed with any stock from Miss Hollie. Marge is very sweet and a big girl! I’m excited to show her as well as breed her in the future.

Gambler’s litter is doing well & 5.5-6lbs at 9wks old, this is the best growth rates I have had in my barn! Pictures don’t do them justice as far as type. I have picked my hold backs so far, but this could change. We evaluate at 4 weeks, 8 weeks, 12 weeks, then at 16 weeks. Unfortunately, they only have half of a pedigree, but it will be fun to show them for the time being!

I am slowly looking for a new buck to add this summer or fall, maybe sooner. While I do have 2 bucks, one is unpedigreed, so just for my sister to work with for now. I am hoping to find a nice buck to pair well with my does.

I have some nice juniors who are starting to silver. Great weights, nice type, but partial pedigrees. Only reason I am offering them is because they have great type & growth rates, so they will help a meat program or show program that pedigrees do not matter!
