Good Sunday evening! Got caught up in a project and almost missed posting menu! Ooops! This week is warming up so we will be having 2 salads: Italian Meatball Salad (pork meatballs lightly simmered in sauce then placed on green with super fresh veggies; pick Ranch or Italian Dressing), and Chicken Fajita Salad (Marinated Chicken breast, peppers, onions, corn, other veggies on a bed of greens; pick Ranch, Salsa Ranch or Italian dressing). Meals are $12 ($10 for 65+). Meals will be available for delivery and pick up Thursday, June 19; delivery from 12-2; pick ups from 4-6 pm. You may opt to pick up at the shop Friday thru Sunday; just let me know so you're on the right list! You may order via email: [email protected] or via phone/text: 925-878-5829. This week's menu is: Quiche Lorraine on Salad (beautiful quiche on bed of greens, with cukes, tomatoes, olives - Select Italian or Ranch dressing), and Italian Sausage & Peppers on creamy polenta. Meals are $12 ($10 for 65+). Meals will be available for delivery or pickup Thursday, June 12; delivery from 12-2 and pickups at the shop from 4-6pm. Good Sunday evening! This week's menu is a nod to the onset of warmer (HOT) weather, so it'll be two salads. Chinese Chicken Salad (Seasoned chicken on greens/napa cabbage, with baby corn, carrots, mandarins, crushed ramen crunchies & almonds - comes with sesame dressing), and, since I'm craving a Reuben....A Reuben Salad (corned beef on greens/cabbage, swiss cheese, rye croutons - saurkraut will be in separate container if you wish to use it. Comes with Thousand Island dressing - or ranch or Italian if you specify). Meals are $12 ($10 for 65+). Meals will be available for delivery or pick up Thursday, June 5; delivery from 12-2 and pick ups from 4-6pm. Happy Saturday! Feed the Joy shop is open 11-3 today thru Monday! C'mon down and check out our fun things! Market bags, gifts, eggs ($5/dz), and Joy (free)! I still have a few Memorial Day busted canvases, as well -- we hold dear to our heart those who have served our nation. It's not just another holiday for fun, but a time for contemplation and remembrance. Stay joyful!

This week's menu is: Big Chef's Salad (turkey/ham/cheeses atop greens with boiled egg and cool veggies - comes with Ranch or Italian - please specify), and Reconstructed Turkey Roulade (turkey breast slices envelope a savory stuffing, on mashed potatoes and gravy). Feed the Joy is, well, just what we DO. We feed the body, the heart, the soul, the creativeness of this thing called Life. In an effort to keep the Joy alive, we provide healthy meals to those that need/want them; we are crafty, so we crochet, sew, create items to give and sell, and basically do just about anything legal to keep paying it forward. We roll over the payments we receive to help those in need, both the homeless and animal rescue.
