Walburga German Shepherds sprung from Sierra Working Dogs, a group of working German Shepherd Dog Breeders in Ca and enthusiasts who both train and breed litters of working prospect German Shepherd puppies in the Sacramento, Bay Area, California. Many of our dogs also work in Law Enforcement, Search and Rescue, Schutzhund, AKC sport, but most of all, they tremendous family companions. Our dogs a
re a combination of a breeding program established in 1967 and carried forward to today mixing in some of the top German Shepherd imports from Europe. We have been/or are active in Search and Rescue and Schutzhund, as well as various other venues. We provide German Shepherd puppies to people after extensive puppy testing and matching to their specific needs. All our puppies are raised with Puppy Culture, which includes Early Neurological Stimulation, optimizing their confidence and our understanding of how they handle themselves. They have specialized play areas focusing on changing environmental surfaces, agility obstacles and a changing environment. Puppies are started on clicker training and scent specific dogs can be imprinted from the time of whelping. We also keep and train some of our German Shepherds to meet a variety of needs.
