We are excited to welcome Dr. Cassandra Thomas-Sheehan to the FCAC family!
Dr. Cassie was raised in Maryland and spent most of her youth riding horses and competing throughout Maryland and Virginia. Her early love of animals drove her interest in veterinary medicine. After graduating from the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine, she practiced in Virginia, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and numerous locations throughout Florida including our very own Citrus County.
Dr. Cassie has experience in both general practice and emergency medicine. She has special interests in endocrinology, ultrasonography, soft tissue surgery, dentistry, referral medicine and is certified in Acupuncture and Veterinary Medical Manipulation. She likes to bring compassion and common sense to practice and loves to support the human animal bond. When not at work she loves to spend time with her husband boating, cooking and enjoying the flora and fauna of Florida.
