Today we launch our Toy Drive. With everything going on right now with the government shut down and things we are expecting to have more children to supply Christmases for. So we are kicking off a month earlier than we normally do and we are kicking off as of today, November 1.
If you would like to reach out with donations of toys or regular donations and will purchase toys contact me directly and we will be happy to give you the information to do either. We’re asking all toy purchases to be sent to Holly’s House directly and we can provide donation links. I thank you all from the bottom of my heart. Let’s help these kids wake up to Christmas as they deserve!

Belated price update for 2024. Unfortunately due to the rising costs of doing business, we have been forced to raise prices this year. We have tried to avoid it but are just unable to put it off any longer.
Updated prices are:
Minis:$40/trim
Horses and ponies: $50/trim
Drafts: $100/trim
Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice WILL still be responsible for the cost of your appointment.
We have unfortunately had to enforce this cancellation policy due to too many last minute cancellations.
Like you budget your month to your paychecks, we do also and last minute cancellations affect us as well. When you cancel ahead of time we are able to schedule someone in your spot but we do not have that opportunity with last minute notice.

Hello! Quick update!
Thank you to all our wonderful clients for choosing us for your Hoofcare needs! We are currently accepting select new clients in Pasco, hernando, south citrus, and surrounding areas.
Also you may have noticed a business name change! That’s because my name changed! As you all know Erin and I officially tied the knot last year and I finally got my paperwork in order to go get my name changed so Coolidge Whole Horse Hoofcare is now Thornton Whole Horse Hoofcare!

To all of our clients,
Firstly, thank you all for being customers. We greatly appreciate your business.
As we have already discussed with many of you we have had to make the very unfortunate and serious decision to raise prices in light of the current inflation. The costs of tools, supplies, and the vehicle used to get to you have all increased dramatically over the last few months and have shown no signs of going down.
In order to continue to be able to serve all my wonderful customers, prices will be increased as follows:

Standard size horses and ponies: $60 for new horses, $45 after first trim.
Miniatures: $45 for new horses, $35 after first trim.
Goats/sheep: $25
Drafts: starting at $125 for first trim, starting at $75 after that
I am NO LONGER trimming pigs.

As a reminder going into summer you are expected to have your own fly spray for the comfort and safety of both your horse and myself. If I have to supply fly spray you will be charged. I cannot afford to fly spray horses for free any more.

As you know, we stay very busy caring for all of your horses and no longer have a flexible schedule. It is your responsibility to look ahead and reschedule your appointment if needed. When cancelled too close to the date of your appointment it will likely be a few weeks before you can be fit back in.

Clients that cancel with less than 24 hours notice will receive a $25 late cancellation fee. Repeated last minute cancellation will not be tolerated.

Erin is and has been handling the office. Please be respectful to her as she is knowledgable and can answer your questions. She will consult me when needed.

We understand raising prices is hard and it was a very difficult decision to make but after running current numbers on costs a necessary evil if we are to continue to serve you.

I am sad to even have to make this post. You opinions on masks do not effect our business practices. We expect you to wear a mask when handling your horse for us to trim. This is about protecting you as much as us. We deal with many customers a day. Please understand this is not forever.

To our customers who have lost loved ones our hearts and prayers are with you during this very trying time. We are also very thankful for the customers who have pulled through a hard fight and come put on the other side.
