This weekend I put some closure to 9 cats 2 chickens and a dog by finally burying their cremation remains in my memorial garden. This photo is of B.S. (Barbara Streisand) who lived with me 20 years. She died in my arms while I rocked her in an old rocking chair.

Respectfully there was brothers Ben and Nathan, sisters Bobbie and Smoochie, Silver, clinic cats Willow and Elvis and Katie (Kathryn Hepburn). Rooster Bourland and hen Oprah who was about 14 years old! And Tito who lived a short 5 years.

Being a veterinarian doesn't make it any easier to let go.
