📣 Temporary Closure Announcement 📣

To our valued clients and beloved pet families,

Due to some ongoing business constraints, we’ve made the incredibly difficult decision to temporarily close our urgent care services.

This is not a decision we made lightly. Our team has worked tirelessly to provide care for your pets, and we are so grateful for the trust and support you’ve shown us. At this time, we simply cannot maintain the level of service your pets deserve without putting further strain on our small but dedicated staff.

💔 Effective today, May 9th, we will not be offering urgent care services until further notice.

We are actively exploring options to reopen in the near future or offer a limited weekend-only urgent care alternative. We’ll keep you updated here as soon as we have more to share.

In the meantime, we encourage you to reach out to your primary care veterinarian for any non-emergency concerns. For true emergencies, please contact your nearest 24/7 emergency veterinary hospital.

Thank you again for your understanding and continued support. We hope to see you and your furry companions again very soon.

📢 Exciting News! Paradise Pets Urgent Care Expanding Weekend Hours to Better Serve You! 🐾

📆 Starting today, April 11th, these will be our new hours.

💙 What does this mean for you and your pet?

* We are increasing our weekend coverage to be available earlier on both Saturday and Sunday, allowing you to seek immediate care for your pet's urgent needs throughout a larger portion of the day. We understand that unexpected health issues don't always adhere to a schedule, and these expanded weekend hours are a direct response to our desire to better accommodate your busy lives and provide timely support when you need it most.

* While we will no longer be serving Monday morning hours, we believe that these extended and more convenient weekend hours will significantly improve access to urgent veterinary care for our community, especially during those peak times of potential need.

🏖Those beach days are right around the corner, are you thinking of taking your pet along for the fun? Be sure to keep these safety tips in mind!

Acclimate gradually: Start with short visits and gradually increase the time spent out on the beach
Leash up: Always keep your pet on a leash, especially in crowded areas or near wildlife.
Clean up after your pet: Dispose of waste responsibly to maintain a clean and safe beach environment.
Never leave your pet unattended: Even for a short time as overheating can occur quickly
Monitor your pet closely: Keep an eye on your pet's behavior and watch for any signs of distress.

We are keeping a close eye on the weather but as of now, no changes to our hours of operation - we are open until 10:00 pm today. If you do have any concerns for your pets, we advise acting on it sooner than later! We will keep everyone posted if we need to close early for safety concerns, thanks all!

Meet Dr. Jon! As one of our dedicated veterinarians, Dr. Jon is proud to serve our clients through both our urgent care and our general practice partner, Paws in Paradise Animal Hospital. Additionally, you may see him at Alaqua Animal Refuge helping with spay/neuter initiatives for local adoptions. Dr. Jon loves surgery, ultrasonography, and providing access to care for the clients and pets of this region!
