Leilani Christina of Bates Great Danes 🌺

When we lost Hera, we were offered to co own this perfect baby and there’s not a chance we could say no that wrinkly face 🥺 Leilani is a blue brindle, full European baby with such an amazing pedigree from Bates Great Danes in Texas!

Her litter name was already Christina, which is the name of my great grandmother who recently passed. Her nickname will be Lani, also happens to be her first mamas nick name. My dream dog has been a brindle, European Dane. Just makes it feel extra meant to be 💗

Merry Christmas from all our babies here! This year, we’re thankful our old girl is still with us after her cancer diagnosis. We’re definitely missing our sweet Boujee girl. We’re so thankful for the health of our other babies & excited about the ones we’ve added this year. We appreciate all of our puppy families, past & present, and we’re grateful for all the support we’ve been shown along the way!

We have this sweet boy from our Boujee/Apollo litter still available! If you don’t remember, this guy is the only one from his litter that survived and has grown beautifully! He has the same loving, energetic personality as his mama Boujee and he’d make the perfect addition to any family. Since he’s been inside with us, he’s started potty training, crate training and leash training. He’s not a pro at them but he’s off to a great start! 17 pounds at 6.5 weeks, definitely our biggest pup at this age! This sweet, chunky little boy is still available. He loves a good blanket & some cuddles! 😍 His temperament is amazing and we’re expecting him to be huge!

Such a hard post for us to make, we will miss our Boujee so much 💔

GDV (bloat) is so horrible. Please know the warning signs and if you think your dog may be experiencing them, get emergency help as soon as possible. Things to look for are: swollen abdomen, vomiting/attempts of vomit with no success, excessive drooling, restlessness, panting or rapid breathing, not being able to stand and an overall look of distress. Boujee was taken to the vet as soon as these symptoms appeared and received emergency surgery but unfortunately the damage was already done and we lost this beautiful girl the day after her procedure. You can have a gastropexy (stomach tacking procedure) preformed on your dog to help buy extra time to get them help if this occurs. It’s typically done during their spay/neuter if requested. There are always risks with any procedure so be sure to research and consult with your vet.

We are so grateful for Kittrell Animal Hospital for acting fast to get a diagnosis, working so hard to save Boujees life and giving her the best care.

Rest In Peace, Boujee. She offered our family so much love and will missed immensely 🖤

It’s been a hard few days here. We welcomed Boujees babies Wednesday, earlier than anticipated. We had 4 preemie babies and despite our very best efforts, we lost three precious girls. This sweet boy is our only surviving pup from the litter 🥺 He’s a strong boy and we have really high hopes for him! Boujee is one of our very best mamas and our hearts are just broken for her. She’s doing well considering the week she’s had and she’s getting some very well deserved rest!

We had another litter of 3 boys on Thursday & all those babies are doing great! We will post photos of them soon! We will have 2 puppies from that litter available in addition to this little guy (once we feel comfortable)!
