I'm attending online continuing education training today. The current topic is a review of treating arthritis, including the reasons why some supplements work far better than others of similar names. For example, dogs have a different fatty acid requirement than humans and simply using "fish oil" won't meet the desirable levels of EPA. We are also discussing ways to individualize this need.

If your dog is arthritic or has a genetic predisposition (such as hip dysplasia) I'll share this with you at your next appointment!
