The people attending my events are not looking for traditional jobs. That's why it's always been called an alternative income Expo. We match and promote people who have or who are looking for OPPORTUNITY, such as small business owners, entrepreneurs, people with services or trades and who have craft arts that they want to sell, direct sellers, independent contractors, customer service providers, etc.

For 10 years that has been my mission and purpose.

"Life is funny, you know? I have really been missing Luca lately with the change of seasons and then out of the blue, three special moments happened to remind me that although he was just 4 pounds, Luca really touched some lives and I was blessed to get to share him with so many people.

The first moment came last week when Russ Dodge with Tribute Milestones & Cissi Sherlock of The DAK Foundation came to the station & presented me with a beautiful poem written about Luca and I. It really touched me beyond words.

The second moment came today when I came into work and one of my friends & former coworkers Judy Palermo, who now is at the Indianapolis Zoo, sent me a card and stuffed lion to let me know she had adopted a lion in honor of Luca in the zoo’s Animal Amigo Adoption Program.

The money she gave goes towards caring for animals at the zoo.

It choked me up in the best of ways.

The third moment came when my uncle sent me an email to say he had used Luca’s picture on a tag that was going to be put on a brand of dog bed to be sold in pet stores and that little Luca’s sweet face would be all over the place.

I really loved that little guy and it does my heart good to know people recognized that and that Luca, in his own way, made an impact and is not forgotten."
