This Saturday from 12pm-3pm Santa Paws will be in store with ARPO - Alliance for Responsible Pet Ownership. Digital or print pictures are $15 for your first and $10 each for additional pictures. ALL proceeds benefit ARPO!

Coffee and cocoa served for the humans and Santa will have treats for the pets coming in for their picture! 🎅

stopped in today to go fishing at Paws Stop! 🎣

She caught some tasty Salmon from and Cod Skins from to fuel her adventures with dad! (and definitely got a lot of treats and love from staff.....😏)

Paws Stop loves to give all dogs the celebrity treatment when they stop in for a visit--but it's always a real treat for us when an actual local celebrity and TV star pops in! 🌟

Dixie The Praying Dog stopped in today to go fishing at Paws Stop! 🎣

Dealing with a pet who won't try new food? ❌ Here are some tips to entice picky eaters!

-Don't Free Feed: Serving food at dedicated mealtimes allows pets to get hungry enough to be willing to branch out and try new food.

-Add Liquid: Adding warm water, raw goat milk, or pet-safe broth increases the smell of the food and can be the boost your pet needs to take a bite.

-Transition: Sometimes, picky pets need a long transition. Start with a majority of their old food and just a bit of new food and gradually adjust the ratios. This helps them get used to the new element in the bowl.

-Make Feeding Engaging: Incorporating the new food into an enrichment activity like a lick mat, puzzle toy, or other item can feel more like a reward or treat to your pet.

-Be Patient & Positive: Your attitude helps! Be positive, patient, persistent, and willing to adapt based on your pet's preferences.
