Broad Ripple Dog Training is no longer accepting clients.

My family and I have made the difficult decision to move out of state. While we ultimately know that we will be thriving in our new city, there is a sadness that comes with ending this chapter.

I will forever cherish the connections I have made with all of you, big and small. I want to be a resource to my previous clients. If you need me I am just an email away.

I love you and your dogs all so much. Thank you for doing business with me. And thank you for trusting me with your furry family member.

My husband, the dogs and I will be leaving for Chicago in October.

I will never forget the past two years, Broad Ripple. And I hope you don't forget me either.

It was that time of year again, folks! Competition time!

I took home 2nd place in the 60kg Raw Open and A NATIONALS CLASS 2 QUALIFICATION 😱

Here were my numbers:

Squat: 182
Bench: 99
Deadlift: 264

My next meet will be over the Summer and shortly following I will be going to IPL North America's in St. Louis to hit the big stage 🙌

I appreciate all of my beautiful clients who support me on my journey of being a strong powerful woman 💪

People are taking notice of Raven's training. Here she is holding a down-stay in the presence of another dog. She even actively stops looking at it to focus on me.

Dog-Dog reactivity is one of the most difficult behaviors to change in a dog. It's anxiety inducing for them, making it anxiety inducing for us. We have put a lot of time and work into Raven's training.

Broad Ripple side streets are still yuck. Training at today! 🐕🐕🐕

Raven is learning to be less reactive and more relaxed in high stress environments. Did you know the Pet Store can sometimes be overwhelming for dogs? The smells of other dogs, food and other items along with loud noises can sometimes cause stress.

This is exactly why Raven is here. Criteria in dog training is incredibly important, and a walk around the neighborhood is no longer an issue (other than ice 🥶), so it was time to up the ante!

Training in environments that your dog finds difficult can be challenging at first. I recommend bringing whatever your dog finds rewarding with you and practicing engagement and cues while you're there. A focused dog is a successful dog!

I'm super excited to announce that I will be volunteering with Freedom K9 Project 💕🐾

Meet Sam. He is a soon to be a PTSD Service Dog for a survivor of domestic abuse or s*x trafficking. I will be handling him and another doggo a couple times a month at various locations, such as the gym, grocery stores, hair salons, you name it.

Sam will be doing a very important job. Did you know a Service Dog HAS to perform tasks? One of those tasks is alerting to anxiety.

Here Sam is alerting to hyperventilating and leg shaking. He follows up with some hugs for deep pressure therapy and receives all the praise for being the goodest boy.

I'm thrilled to know I'll be helping people by helping these dogs. Can't wait to see how they continue to progress. 😊

WORKING DOGS AT WORK 🥰🥰🥰

Did you know the a working breed dog thrives when given a job to do? Heelers are high drive working dogs, so Birdie and Murphy's mom likes to work them every morning.

Here we are working on the dogs being able to work at the same time without having any guarding issues. They did an excellent job!
