This was an email from the Club and we thought it was one all Indian Wells C.C. residents would interest in:

After 35 years as a mail carrier, Frank Frary is hanging up his satchel. Twenty-eight of those years have been dedicated to delivering mail to the residents here at Indian Wells Country Club.
Frank delivered our mail long before the Club house was renovated, and long before he became a dad. Some of you might still remember the fantastic baby shower Mary Smith and Peg Jacoby hosted for Frank and his wife Kajsa when they expected their first baby, daughter Olivia, in the fall of 1999. It was attended by many of the ladies on Frank’s route.
Olivia is now in her first year of college, and Frank has two boys, Adam and Simon, following in big sister’s footsteps.Those of you who know Frank, know that he has a twinkle in his eye and a lot of warmth in his heart. Over the years, he’s been a friend to many, and called the fire department on numerous occasions – most recently in 2013 when as a result of saving one of our homes from catching fire, he was awarded a Hero Award from the City of Indian Wells.
He is deeply grateful for his daily interactions with customers over the years, many whom have left an imprint on his heart, and he’s loved the beautiful work environment at the Club.
Thursday, March 28th is Frank’s last day with the US Post Office and as he moves on to new adventures, we wish him well.
A retirement reception will be held at Frank’s Place at Indian Wells Hotel from 5-7pm on Tuesday, March 5. Come join Frank, family and friends for a hug, and a drink or two.

Lane Closures Notification
The number 1 and 2 lanes are closed to traffic travelling southbound on Washington Street south of the Fred Waring intersection due to a sewer main break. Only the number 3 (the lane closest to the curb) is open to southbound traffic. CVWD crews are onsite and are beginning repair work. For more information, please contact CVWD at (760) 398-2651. Motorists are advised to avoid the area and take an alternate route. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
