By April, we will start offering the ProHeart 12-month injection for adult dogs. This is an injectable preventative option that lasts a full 12 months, eliminating the need for a monthly tablet or topical product to prevent heartworms. Your dog must be at least 12 months of age to qualify, and we do require a negative in-house heartworm test the day they receive the injection. Pricing for the injection will be dependent on your dog's weight.
