Everyone who is interested and submitted apps to foster-to-adopt, they will arrive later this month (I think the 26th) and we’re all still working on confirming who is going to what rescue. When you’re heavily pregnant but have a comfy bed… 💟

I fully support spay and abort but Audrey is really far along and it’s traumatic for the vet staff at our vet. So I’ll be using this situation as an opportunity to educate. Audrey came in NURSING kittens while already pregnant again. If you have an unspayed cat outside or around any intact males, assume she’s pregnant.

We haven’t had any pregnant cats (or pregnant cats allowed to give birth) in rescue in almost a year. Like I said, I fully support spay and abort. I will post updates as I have them. Let’s wish for a safe pregnancy and healthy kittens.

Before you have anything negative to say about the overgrown yard, I hope you offered your time to help me. It’s just me here, trying to do everything. We’ve gotten so much rain and storms, not allowing me to do this in 3 weeks in my *spare* time but today I tackled it! My face is bright red and I’m soaked with sweat. I still have more to do but at least it looks a lot better! There’s a lot that goes into running a rescue like mine… a 6400 sq ft building on 2 acres with hundreds of animals. Yard work is low priority so any offers to help me maintain it is appreciated!

Romi is trying to kill the trimmer whenever its on 😅🥴

The first play group let me work without incident but Romi’s not letting me multitask with his play group outside.

I’m trying to tackle the dog yard today. Still need help with mowing the front yard if anyone can help 🙏🏼 if not, I’ll try and make time tomorrow or Monday!
