I am so pleased with all of the improvements! Just by them allowing me to advocate for a dog or asking for advice on another shows how much they care.

If you're looking to adopt, I would be so happy if you drove an hour to visit theirs. There's so many good dogs there.

I'm headed to Sam's Club to get cat food, dog food, puppy pads (used in carriers for transport), and more! With dozens of new mouths to feed in the past 2 weeks, any help is appreciated ❤️

What a beautiful litter! Gorgeous tabbies, a snowshoe, a siamese, and solid white. Contact the shelter if you can foster for them.

***BOTTLE FEEDERS NEEDED***

It’s raining cats and dogs outside and raining orphaned kittens in the shelter! We need bottle feeders! These guys are about 3 weeks old and will need to be on a bottle just a bit longer. One of the ringworm kittens that arrived yesterday is breathing abnormally. I immediately started her on Orbax (for pneumonia, lower respiratory infection) and will get her moved into the brooder on oxygen. This is extremely fatal for a kitten (and grown adults) so I'm glad she is out of the shelter and here where she can receive proper care.

The Ringworm Isolation Hallway 🐾

When the shelter said they had kittens with ringworm needing placement, I already had one set isolated in the hallway near the dog rooms (King's room, the sunroom, and den)... it wasn't a big deal to add a few more. You have to get creative when you have free roaming cats who like to stick their arms in enclosures to steal food and toys.

Once these little ones get through this, they'll be able to move to the normal cat areas at the rescue or hopefully, go to foster 🙏❤️

$500 worth of vaccines purchased! 75 FVRCP for the new kittens and 25 DHPP for the dogs to booster theirs. We will need to order more cat vaccines in a few weeks so please keep us in mind when you're choosing an organization to support ❤️

I am getting these kittens today from Tuscaloosa Metro Animal Shelter. Two scheduled to be picked up today passed away overnight (their siblings already passed and they were just too sick) and there's more needing help. Since I'm already isolating and treating a litter of ringworm here, what's a few more? 🥲 plus more upper respiratory cases.

I am able to say yes because of your support. I will need to purchase more meds and medical supplies to take care of even more sick kittens. I will do everything possible to give them a fighting chance but they don't have strong immune systems yet so losses are expected 💔
