Hi everyone , I wanted to give an update on my girl, Lady. 🤍

She has officially been diagnosed with glaucoma in her eye. Right now we are focusing on keeping her comfortable and managing her pain, but unfortunately this isn’t something that can be reversed.

To give her the best quality of life and keep her pain-free, we will need to move forward with having her eye removed. She will be going in soon for pre-op bloodwork, and then we will get her surgery scheduled.

This has been incredibly hard, but I know it’s what’s best for her. She’s still the same sweet, happy girl and I just want her to feel good again.

To those that have been giving me so much grace… thank you. It truly means more than I can put into words. 🤍

I appreciate all of your patience, understanding, and kind messages more than you know. I’m trying to keep my spirits up. Please keep Lady in your thoughts as we go through the next steps. 🤍🐾

Hey everyone 🤍

I’m having to cancel all appointments for today. My Aussie, Lady, has been dealing with ongoing eye issues, and we’re heading back to a specialist in Dewey, OK, fingers crossed) to hopefully get some answers.

This week has been nothing but stressful, and I just need my girl back to normal. If you could send some good vibes our way, I would really appreciate it.

Thank you all so much for your understanding and patience. I’ll be reaching out to get everyone rescheduled as soon as I can. 🐾

Hey guys 🐾

I wanted to give everyone a heads up that starting this summer, The Barking Banjo will be transitioning to weekday-only appointments.

This decision didn’t come lightly, but with the physical demands of grooming and wanting to make sure I can continue giving your pups the best care possible long-term, I need to create a schedule that’s a little more sustainable for me.

My weekends are going to be dedicated to me and my family, and taking that time is something I’ve realized I truly need.

I’ll still be working my normal weekday hours and will do my best to accommodate everyone the same as always. I appreciate you guys more than you know and am so thankful for all of you who continue to support my small business 🤍

If you have any questions or need help getting on the schedule, don’t hesitate to reach out!
