Animals Best Friends is a 501C3 non-profit organization that is run solely by volunteers. We are proud to be licensed in the state of Missouri.

ABF's Community Cat Program was begun due to the overwhelming number of calls we receive from the public needing assistance with owner surrender and stray cats and kittens. The cats in the program reside at Petsmart in Independence until they are adopted.

ABF’s biggest expense right now is our vet bills. We spend a lot for our Outreach Program helping families keep their beloved pets by assisting with medical issues. We could really use help in that area.
