Hey guys! we will be closing up tomorrow at 2pm and we will be closed this Saturday. If you need something try and stop in today or tomorrow before we close, we have crickets and mealworms for those that need them. Stop in! We're coming into some big shifts over the next few weeks, so please be patient with us as we get things changed around and resettled. As always, if you have questions ask! If it's not on the sales floor, maybe it's in the back, if you can't get here to get the things you need between closures, let us know! Maybe we can get them to you outside regular hours! It's not our goal to inconvenience anyone, it's just been a very busy summer that we've been making a lot of changes through. Everybody have a good rest of your week and weekend!

Upcoming closure announcement: we will be closed all next week, from Tuesday July 29th to Saturday Aug 2nd. Please plan accordingly. We will be open again Tuesday August 5th for our regular store hours.

August is going to be a bit all over the place, we will continue to post any hour and closure updates here. Please bear with us, summer is the slow season for this business and we like to spend time enjoying the warmer months as much as anyone else. As we come into September and fall and cooler weather, things will be getting back to a more consistent schedule.

We will be closed today in observance of independence day. We WILL be open tomorrow from 11 to 5 if anyone needs anything. Everyone have a fun and SAFE 4th of July weekend. Don't drink and drive, don't burn anything down, and I expect everyone to have all their fingers when I see them next! Happy birthday America! 🇺🇸🎂🦅

Hey guys, we are here and staying open until 6 today. We didnt get our cricket shipment, so we are still out of those, but we have mealworms and will hopefully be getting some crickets in next Wednesday from a separate vendor to try and get us through until our next order.

I like how they bold 50% reduction like it's a big deal. Like it's a 50% reduction in the rates, it's like $6. They've practically tripled the water rates from what I'm hearing but that $6 will really smooth it all over 😂 wait til people catch on they're going to New York state power and the electric triples too

A Different Kind of Pet Shop

Seeing a need in the community, in midsummer 2017, I decided to open a new pet store specializing in tropical fish and staple exotics. I wanted to build something special, a place where the pets needs and customer care are put ahead of the profits. I wanted to carry quality goods only, none of the gimmicky products that other stores sell to keep you coming back for all the wrong reasons. I wanted to make proper fish keeping and pet husbandry as easy and straightforward as I could for people because I truly believe its the best way for pets to get the proper care they need and the owners the fulfillment they need to enjoy and help grow the hobby.
