Rabies vaccines are very safe and effective but must be kept up to date. It is the law for a reason.

Meet Charlie. She is Green Valley Animal Hospital’s emotional support dog! When we are having a tough day we get puppy kisses by Charlie!

Charlie is owned by our hospital manager and she comes to work every day and the entire staff goofs off with her. We love her.

Puppy and Kitten day!! The best part of our jobs. Mollie the Schnauzer puppy is so adorable with her liver and pepper color. She got passed around to all the staff.

Happy Easter! These adorable puppies have an incredible story about their dad.
These puppies were produced by frozen semen that was 33 years old.

Their father Tug, was born in 1989 and was a champion Chesapeake Bay retriever. His semen was collected in 1992 and was stored as semen straws in a liquid nitrogen chamber since then.

Two of these straws were recently sent to New York to be artificially inseminated in a female. She successfully delivered 10 puppies. These two puppies were payment for the straws and were shipped back to Maryland to be owned by Tugs owner.

Tug has produced over 125 champion Chesapeake Bay retrievers more than any other Chessie! MANY more Chesapeake Bay retrievers carry his bloodline. Hopefully these two will follow in his footsteps and become champions as well.

Attention Clients!

Recent news has come out on “Save This Life”, a microchip company that is shutting down. GVAH uses the company “PetLink” for our microchips so any microchips that have been implanted by us are still active and unaffected. These are universal chips that we administer and they are able to be read by all microchip scanners nationwide. If your pet's microchip is linked to “Save This Life”, the chip can be re-registered with any of the other microchip companies listed at the American Animal Hospital Association's website. We recommend “PetLink”.
