Please share! Thanks!
Hello, everyone! It's been awhile, so hopefully you're still with us after the break we've had! We're still in the process of some changes and trying to build back what we've had to retire and even soon to retire, but it's coming along. It's just a process. I've also had some health issues I've had to deal with that set us back, but I'm good now 😁 I hope everyone had a safe & wonderful 4th of July celebrating America's 250th over the weekend! We had a great 4th!
Just wanted to hop on here real quick and share a little surprise for you! I was hoping to do a new waitlist for this litter, but I will for the next one, as it just didn't work out that way this time. I've been so busy I haven't had time to post them until now.
My wonderful Kinsley (Black European Doberman) blessed us with 7 puppies 3 wks ago, by our newest male we are using. We were so excited! All happy and healthy! Unfortunately, Kinsley developed mastitis that 1st wk after they were born. She didn't show any symptoms until it was too late. They had already drank from the infected breasts. She received treatment and is just fine. I worked tirelessly for an entire wk on the other puppies with bottle feeding and everything, but unfortunately it wasn't enough. They passed. It was heartbreaking, because at one point I thought they were going to be fine and then they went down hill again. 😢 However, the other 3 were fine the entire time. Sometimes, these things just happen and there's nothing you can do but just pray they pull through when they're that young. Not a great way to start back in the swing of things, but we still have 3 healthy and fat beauties looking for new homes to go to when they turn 8 wks old! 2 black girls and 1 blue boy!
A little side note: I haven't done any other colors in several years besides black and reds because that's the only colors I've wanted to focused on for a long time now, but the new male I'm using, the father to these puppies, can throw other colors (which comes from his mother's American background). His name is Coach. He is half American and half European. He is a red male I held back from a litter we had, so yes, I know his background well, and I figured he probably would throw other colors if I used him, but he's an amazing dog with a wonderful pedigree, and I was ok with that because I have actually missed having the blues and fawns! 😍 To see Kinsley have another color other than black though, was still a surprise because she's only ever given me black no matter who I've paired her with!
The blue puppy just made me cry when he was born because he made me miss my beloved Hannibal who passed away 5 years ago. It just brought me back to when he was a puppy. So, this litter is extra precious to me. In honor of my precious Hannibal, who I miss so dearly, I am going to theme this litter after the Silence of the Lambs movie lol. Hannibal (blue), Clarice (black), Jodie (black).
So, you may be seeing more blues and fawns again whenever I use Coach in the future. I've had many people ask if we still have blues and fawns and I've said no, but it looks like we'll be getting some again ❤️ So if you're wanting one from us, hopefully we'll have some more for you 😊
If you're interested in any of these 3 Doberman Pinscher puppies, please message me and I will send you all the details on them as soon as I can! If you've read this far, thank you, and sorry for the long post!
