Tomorrow’s a big day at Gospel Gait Stables… the mustangs are headed off to training 🖤

So of course, we had to send them off right.
Strider got his very first bridle path (and let me tell you… he had opinions), fresh braids, and his brand cleaned up like the handsome, wild gentleman he is. Watching that transformation felt a little like watching a boy turn into something more… still wild, just a little more refined.

And Maxi… whew. That horse knows he’s something special. Sleek, shiny, and carrying himself like he’s already got a job to do.

These boys came to us untouched, unsure, and completely their own. Tomorrow they take the next step in their journey, and while I’m beyond proud… it’s a little bittersweet watching them go.
Mommy will miss you more than you’ll ever know 🤍
Once a Gospel Gait mustang, always a Gospel Gait mustang.

There’s something about a horse that changes you the moment you meet them.

In this day, Jug got to be someone’s very first.

This lady walked up quietly, and asked if she could touch him… then told me she had never seen a horse in person before. Not once. You could see the nerves, the fear, the curiosity and hesitation all at once.

And Jug, being exactly who he is, just stood there, like he knew this moment mattered.

She reached out slowly, and while her hand trembled as she reached forward, she teared up.

Right there, in this simple moment, I knew how blessed I am.

It was quiet. It was real. And it meant everything to her and to me.

Moments like this… this is why I do what I do. 🤍

Laying down without a worry in the world, and that right there means everything to me. Knowing he feels safe, cared for, and at peace in my care… that’s the kind of “success” you can’t put a ribbon on.

This is why I do it.
