Idaho Falls Zoo Located inside Tautphaus Park, Idaho Falls Zoo is the "best little zoo in the west!" The zoo is accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA).

As a critically endangered species, Hyacinth Macaws play an important role in conservation efforts. Cal and Gracie are an approved breeding pair through the Species Survival Plan, helping support the long-term future of their species.

If you’ve never met him before, this is fan-favorite Luke the river otter 🦦💙

Luke lives with his best buddy Talon, and the two are young, playful, and always on the move! You can usually spot them swimming, splashing, and putting on a show for everyone watching!

Want to tell them apart?
Luke has a lighter neck and belly, while Talon is a bit darker!
