Fun Show July 13th - 8AM start, Registration 730 am
Halter/Showmanship - Line up in the arena facing the Judge. When summoned by judge lead your horse straight towards the judge. Stop once you get the cones, hesitate, then 180 degree turn to the right. Set horse up. Stand for inspection by judge. Once judge is done and returns to their place behind the horse, trot your horse straight back into your line up. 180 degree turn and stand.
Western Pleasure - This is a on the rail class judged on the horse, walk, trot, lope and possibly extended version of those gaits. When asked you will be lining up in center of arena for a back up.
Western Horsemanship - This is a on the rail class judged on the Rider, walk, trot, lope and possibly extended version of those gaits. When asked you will be lining up in center of arena for a back up.
Ranch Riding - Pattern posted, judged on both horse and rider
In- Hand Trail - Horse must be led through the obstacles. Pattern will be posted, judged on both horse and rider
Trail - Horse ridden through the obstacles. Pattern will be posted, judged on both horse and rider
Pennant Race - Timed Event. You will be given a small flag when entering the arena. You will ride your horse to the barrel on the other end of the arena, stick that flag in the bucket of sand located on top of the barrel. Grab the OTHER flag and bring back to the attendant by the gate. Time stops after through the time line (marked with cones).
Keyhole race - Timed Event. Ride your horse through the middle of the poles like you are riding through a gate. Once through the poles turn your horse around (either way) and ride back through the poles, towards gate. Time stops after through the time line (marked with cones).
