Good Morning ☀️

As many of you know, Mariahs basement flooded so we've had to temporarily move our location to Ida while its being repaired. Of course this is taking longer than we expected so thank you all for your patience and understanding.

August is a super busy month for us but this week we do have openings for SMALL DOG HAIRCUTS or ANY SIZE DOG BATH AND BRUSH. We can also always do nail trims almost any day for just $10.

All other appointments and all appointments after this week are booked out until the end of September so please book ahead of time!

Did you know that Sabrina does still make waterproof dog leashes and collars?

I started making these when we had the store in Dundee and they were big hit! 5 years later, theyre still a big hit!

These are great for all dogs, even non-swimmers. They wash with just warm water and soap and the color does not fade!

Message me to place an order and right now just in time for the Fourth of July, I'm doing RED WHITE & BLUE leashes and collars! These are also sold at Scally Waggs Doggy Bakery & Pet Supplies . Available colors for the two different thicknesses in the pictures.

Wrigley, Gypsy and Rip came in for their very first grooming last week! Their hair was very long, but their mom does such a good job keeping it brushed out and maintained that they weren't tangled at all and we were able to leave their hair a little longer- just like mom wanted! They are such well behaved little puppies and quickly got used to us ✂️🫧 Thank you for trusting us with your babies!

We are booking about 8 weeks out- so please book your appointments in advance!

Can you believe that we have not raised our prices in 6 years!?

When we opened The Wet Nose in 2019 we set our grooming prices as a new business with little experience. We've talked many times about needing to increase our prices to keep up with inflation and rising costs of supplies, but we have always put it off. Price increases are hard for us and they're hard for our clients. Unfortunately, we can't put it off any longer.

Beginning today we will have new prices. You can expect to pay an average of $10 more for your pet's appointment. If you want the new price for your pet's appointment, send us a text and we'd be happy to give you the exact cost.

I'm sorry for the inconvenience and thank you for letting us care for your fur babies for the past 6 years🐶🐾

Hello! My name is Sabrina. If you've been with us for a while you probably remember me from The Wet Nose in Dundee before we closed. Me and my sister Mariah started this together back in 2019 when I opened the pet supply storefront with self wash stations and she started grooming professionally out of the same building! When we unfortunately had to close the store during covid just two years after opening, I got a 9-5 job and Mariah moved her operations to her home in downtown Monroe. Since then I've mostly been behind the scenes helping with Facebook posts and trying to keep up on messages for scheduling. Mariah is amazing at what she does so she of course always has a full schedule. I had my first child a short 4 months ago so Mariah and I have joined forces once again. While I have taken bath clients and helped her with washing from the beginning, I have yet to learn the art of haircuts. Now, she is teaching me all she knows and in the meantime we are able to take more clients in a day than before. You know what they say- teamwork makes the dream work. Now we're just two sisters, with 3 kids and 7 dogs between the two of us making a living doing what we enjoy and helping take care of your furry family members!

Long story short, we are taking new clients! We have openings in the next couple weeks and if any of our regulars would like to move their appointments up, please let us know.
