Tonight. I pray. I pray for all those people still stranded, those who are running out of water, food and other items they need to sustain their lives, for those who need rescuing- I hope that they will lift up their hearts to the Lord and find comfort and hope in knowing He is with them. For those who have lost loved ones- family members and friends- both two and four legged, those who have lost all of their personal belongings/ houses/ cars etc, and for all those who have selflessly dropped everything to help these strangers they will probably never even personally meet. I pray for the first responders, the linemen, and all those who are on ground zero in the wake of this tragedy. And for all those behind the scenes just called to put in their time and effort to do what they can to help- whether that be donating something, organizing donations, drop offs, etc, or seeing a post with a Venmo and being called to donate. God bless us all ❤️❤️❤️ HE’S GOT THIS!

We are soon starting our 28th year here at Cutting Edge Farm.

I am humbled when I think back to the starting days. I still worked full-time and the first winter we had two boarders and a handful of students.

While my goal was to become an A-show barn, I am thrilled with what we are. I am thrilled that I am responsible for introducing the art of riding to so many. I am thrilled when I run into former clients and hear how horses impacted their lives. I am thrilled when my riders go to college and excel on the teams. I am thrilled when I see posts of my former riders doing well at big shows with their new coaches.

So here's to twenty seven years of doing what I love.

Here's hoping for many more!

Good morning!

As many of you know, Patricia Showers has been the barn manager for the last six years.

Unfortunately two weeks ago, she badly injured her back while doing routine stretches on her horse Bleu's left hind. She is waiting for an MRI. This will determine if she is a candidate for surgery or not.

Due to the uncertainty of the future, Pat is trying to sell her horse Bleu and will be sending Ringo back to Save Our Standardbreds rescue.

These are the times I wish I was rich and that horses weren't so expensive.

Pat, we are praying that you will heal and that your heart will find peace.
