Very rarely in life do you have a friend who is completely true, has an absolute heart of gold, and loves you like family should. Someone who encourages you, believes in your dreams as much as you do, and helps you grow in every way. Allison Edwards is this kind of friend to our family and especially to me. I couldn’t respect her more. This year we have had some tough times. Jochen has long Covid and I was down for 6 weeks with it with back to back viruses afterwards. When I felt strong again, I looked around and realized I was buried with more than I could possibly finish and as we know Mother Nature marches on whether you are ready for her or not. This incredible woman heard a quiver in my voice on the phone one night and jumped in, literally becoming my right arm this spring, helping me get caught up. And she did this all the while getting her own farm up and running for the season. She is an incredible flower farmer who began her journey in landscaping then epic vegetable gardening and now she makes the prettiest bouquets in Boulder County. (Check em out all summer long - I tagged her farm’s location). I had to give her a shoutout because she is the definition of a good human as anyone who knows her would agree. ✨QOTD Drop the name of your friends who have your back who you want to give a shout out to and if you know Alli give her a shout in the comments. I’m so grateful for you my friend and I love you with all my heart.
