Groomers Tip this week:
I have had quite a few shave downs this week going into cooler weather. Be mindful of the DEW that falls in the morning… that’s what’s getting your precious pups matted. As they go out to potty, most get soaked especially the feet and legs and depending on the dog their chest and belly’s. They come back inside then lay down on that wet hair all day every day… then you go see the groomer 4-8 weeks later and discover your pup needs a shaving because you aren’t brushing when that hair dries. With the colder temps coming that’s not ideal for a groomer but unfortunately that’s the only solution.
SO. Remember to brush through your dogs when their hair gets dry after coming in from morning potty sesh.
It’s a sad week this week for this groomer but happy to give any help I can to help prevent a shave down for someone’s pup!
