With heavy hearts, we learned that one of our favorite FurBalls clients, Riley, crossed the Rainbow Bridge 🌈🐾

If you knew Riley, you knew he and Jessie were a package deal.

Riley went everywhere with him — riding on the bike, heading to job sites, tagging along to meetings, making trips to Laconia, and stopping into Mid Cape Home Centers to buy lumber and say hi to my Dad.

Riley was the happiest boy. Wind in his face, ears flapping, always along for the adventure. Everyone loved Riley because he loved life and he loved being wherever Jessie was.

Today feels especially hard, but we like to think they’re together again — Jessie on the bike and Riley riding one up, heading off on their next adventure☮️🏍️

Today’s FurBalls shoutout goes to Rowen! 🥷🌎

Krista’s son is competing at Worlds this week in North Carolina and we just wanted to wish him the BEST of luck! We’ve watched all the hard work and dedication that got him here and couldn’t be more proud to cheer him on.

Today felt like more than just another day at the shop. 💚

My dad came by to “guest groom” (don’t worry… your dogs are safe 😆), wearing a shirt that means a lot to us.

This FurBalls tie-dye was a special request, made by my dad’s friend Jesse. Sadly, Jesse passed away unexpectedly two years ago.

If you knew “Hippy Jesse,” you knew tie-dye was basically his uniform. He had a huge heart and left his mark on a lot of people—especially riding around on his motorcycle with his dog Riley. Those two went everywhere together.

At his funeral, his hundreds of tie-dyes were laid out so everyone could take a piece of him and remember him by. This one made its way to my dad.

Seeing my dad here today—after how close we came to losing him last year—wearing something that keeps Jesse’s spirit alive… it just hits different.

Hope you’re still riding free up there, Jesse. 💚 We’re holding onto my dad a little longer down here.
