"Kaley at Holly's Pet Shoppe has been an absolute blessing for our family and our doodle, Beau. She has been working with him since he was just 11 weeks old, and now as he approaches his second birthday this August, it’s clear how much of a positive impact she’s had on him—and us.

From training to grooming, and even caring for him while I’ve been away, Kaley has gone above and beyond. She doesn't just teach commands—she helps build a relationship between you and your dog. The bond she has with Beau is something really special. She’s taken him on trips, helped him grow into his personality, and been there through all his goofy, zoomie-filled moments.

Beau is still a doodle through and through, with all the energy and quirks that come with it—but I can’t imagine how hard he would be to handle without Kaley’s patient, consistent training. Thanks to her, we have the most loving, well-mannered dog, and we’ve learned how to better support him too.

Our second trainer we want to spotlight this week is Holly. Also, our owner. Holly has always had a passion for working with dogs, especially the stubborn or misunderstood ones. While her professional journey began in grooming, her personal success training her own dogs—many of them strong-willed breeds—sparked a deeper love for dog behavior and communication. Recently, she's been expanding into professional training, backed by her AKC training certifications, and she's excited to help other dogs and their owners build stronger, more balanced relationships.

We would like to formally introduce you to our trainers!

The first one we will spotlight is Kaley. Kaley has been working on and off with Holly for a few years now and has gained quite a bit of traction in the dog training world. She is AKC certified, and able to test out S.T.A.R. Puppy, CGC, CGC-A and more classes. Even though her day job is through the Hutchinson Animal Shelter, she enjoys the training hours she spends with her clients. You may see her around on occasion and likely will experience classes with her. She enjoys participating in dog sports with her dogs in her spare time.
