Aiden and Brayden have grown up in foster care together, and are finally ready to move out! These two adorable boys are not littermates, but became fast friends when they found themselves alone in unfamiliar territory.
They are about 14 weeks old, neutered, current on vaccines, microchipped and negative for FIV/FeLV.
You'll never be bored with this silly kittens around

🧡 Meet Seven & Cressida: Two Ginger Gems Ready to Steal Your Heart 🧡

If you’ve got space on your lap, a soft spot in your heart, and room for twice the love—these girls are waiting just for you.

✨ Seven is the kind of companion who makes you feel chosen. She adores curling up in your lap, soaking in all the love you’re willing to give. Her loyalty is unmatched and her quiet affection feels like a warm hug at the end of a long day.

✨ Cressida brings the playful spark. She’s affectionate in her own lively way, keeping things joyful with her sweet nature and love of playtime. She’s the life of the cuddle party and can turn any room into her personal playground.

The sun was shining, the birds were singing... it was a beautiful day at HMAS. But it wasn't just another Monday.
We are thrilled to share that, yesterday, after months of planning, we performed our very first sterilization surgeries in our own facility!
ELEVEN surgeries, to be exact.
Yesterday's adventures were months in the making. We have a lot of work to do, to get to where we want to be, but having the ability to provide these essential procedures in-house presents an abundance of positive change for HMAS and the animals we care for, including shorter shelter stays for adoptable pets and reduced strain on our local veterinary partners.
Thank you to Dr. Kristin Roffey, for being willing (and even excited) to help make this happen and jumping in head first! This is only possible because of you. Thank you to Sarah (CVT) and Morgan (HMAS medical team) for your dedication and extraordinary care for every animal you encounter.
This is just the beginning!
Right now we will be focused on our own shelter animals, with surgeries happening once every 2 weeks. We have a lot of kinks to sort out yet and we are not able to offer any public services.

Looking at xrays, our vet believes this poor boy was shot! 😭
There was a metallic foreign body in the x-ray, all of his top teeth were broken and his jaw bone was sticking out in the back of his mouth. All those broken teeth had to come out, which made his surgery cost a little higher than expected. 💰
Everything closed up as well as it could. A feeding tube was placed, just in case... in case he was too painful to eat. But we told you, this little man is a fighter! He's been eating on his own this whole time and thanking his foster caregiver with the best biscuits and head butts a black cat can offer.
Kush will have his feeding tube removed tomorrow and will be ready to start meeting all of you later this week! His jaw will never sit straight, but it just makes him that much more loveable ❤️
