The Double R Pointers!

Owned by and loved by both of us 🥰.

I still think English Pointers are underrated as house pets. Yes they love and need to run but in my experience they are clean, have a great off switch in the house, may be on the skittish side but are great with kids, not agressive but more submissive in more ways than not, and have a goofy personality that is quite comical. Of the 7 we own, compared to the 4 vizslas, the english pointers were easier to house break and be trusted in the house unsupervised. They are phenomenal bird dogs and spoiler, my EPs love to retrieve and can all swim! Depending on genetics ive noticed the biggest variety is the range at which they like run.

Don't let that old timer image of a sloppy, kennel dog that only gets out to hunt fool you. The english pointers have hearts of gold and if your lucky enough, they will let you have the whole thing.

Its raining so I'm in the van prepping some go home bags for Mimosa x Bam puppies. I know we are still a few weeks away, but im excited for the future for these little ones!

Sharing a moment with Mimosa and puppies. They sure are growing fast! Expanding their menu to hard food today (soft soaked food has been given the last couple days), and more play time with toys and new objects. ... Sunshine and outside is soon to come.

The puppies are at that cute but ugly stage 😅. Sweet and adorable, the pups can see, are more active and moving around, and have had their first taste of puppy mush dog food. It just gets more messy and fun from here!

I'm super excited about our newest training investment! Made by Glen Buddin, this new Johnny house is sure to keep our quail safe and wild. Better birds = better training. .... now I just have to train the birds 😅
