Let’s keep the good feels coming!

Jack and his owner, Mark, recently got to meet one of the most influential volunteers in Jack’s rescue journey. These photos truly feel like a full circle moment for Jack, and a reminder of how many people came together to help him find the life he deserves.

We are beyond appreciative for Bobbi and Kim, whose support, friendship, and dedication helped shape Jack’s path along the way. Jack didn’t just find a home — he brought a community together, and we couldn’t be more grateful to everyone who played a part in his story. 🐾

About four years ago, during a separate rescue trip to Idaho, we found Rue and her sibling being attacked by a group of adult dogs. We pulled over immediately and were able to grab the two pups, though at the time we truly weren’t sure one of them would survive. We raced them to receive medical attention, and that was the day Rue entered rescue at just 8 weeks old.

Since then, Rue has grown into such an incredible dog and was adopted by a truly wonderful family who has continued to support both her and our mission every step of the way. Their kindness and trust in us has meant more than we can express.

A few months ago, Rue’s older human sibling — one of our biggest supporters and an amazing volunteer — adopted another pup from us now named Link. Rue and Link have officially met and are quickly becoming the best of friends.

Moments like this are such powerful reminders of why we continue to do this work. Watching these dogs not only survive, but thrive and remain connected through families who believe in rescue, is something we will never take for granted. We are endlessly grateful this family trusted us once again to help match them with another amazing pup. 🤍

We are deeply grateful for the opportunity to honor veterans every single day through the work we do with animals. So many of the values carried through service — resilience, compassion, sacrifice, and loyalty — are the same qualities that help heal the broken who come through rescue. Thank you to all that served. Never forgetting the fallen.

This Memorial Day, we honor the fallen — the brave men and women who sacrificed everything for our freedom. Their courage and selflessness will never be forgotten. 🇺🇸

For our founder, Travis Williams, Memorial Day carries a deep and personal meaning. After returning home from war, Travis dedicated his life to another mission: saving the forgotten, abandoned, and vulnerable animals who had nowhere else to turn. What began as healing through service became a lifelong commitment to rescue.

Every animal given a second chance through our rescue is a reflection of that continued service, compassion, and unwavering dedication to protecting those without a voice.

Today, and everyday, we remember the heroes we lost, honor those who served, and recognize that service does not always end when the uniform comes off.

From the battlefield to the rescue mission at home — thank you, Travis, and thank you to all who have served. ❤️🐾🇺🇸

Reese is still waiting and wondering where her forever family is hiding. 💔

This sweet girl has so much love to give and is more than ready for a home of her own. She’s been patiently waiting for someone to see just how special she is — someone to choose her, love her, and never let her feel unwanted again.

Every day she waits, we promise her that her people are out there somewhere. We just need help finding them.
