The two time World Champion was bred and raised by Wolf Hills Farm LLC and is shown by Woody Taylor. Deb and “Coal” make a great team and we know they will do big things in the future! Shine on Diamonds, owned by Wolf Hills Farm LLC, had a great weekend at “Dust off the Rust” NRCHA show. In his first show as a bridle horse on Saturday he was second in the Open Bridle and won the Open Two Rein. On Sunday he won the Open Bridle and the Open Two Rein. His high score in Reined Work was 73 1/2 and high score in the Cow Work was 74 1/2. Thanks to Wolf Hills Farm LLC for the opportunity to train such a nice stallion.

Another American Ranch Horse Association World Championship Show is in the books and Taylor Ranch knocked it out of the park this time. A very special thank you to our entire team especially the behind the scenes people that made this show possible. Ethan Dunlap for his complete dedication to the ranch, Angie Vandal for a lifetime of support and reliability, Steve and Kathy Taylor and for always coming through for us with anything that needs done, Heather Wilson Labbe for her friendship, help and organizational skills, our farrier Lee Miles for keeping our horses sound and stopping true. Here are this year’s American Ranch Horse World Show accomplishments.

Shine on Diamonds, a 5yo stallion owned and bred by Wolf Hills Farm, LLC was JR Ranch Reining World Champion, America’s Top Ranch Hand Reining division World Champion, AA Reining reserve World Champion, AA Working Cowhorse 3rd place, America’s Top Ranch Hand overall 8th place, JR Herd Work 10th place riden by Woody Taylor. This is proof positive that Wolf Hills Farm breeding program is producing some of the finest performance horses in the industry.

Guns RN Town, a 3yo dun stallion owned by Heather and Guy Labbe, was 4th in JR Ranch Reining riden by Woody Taylor. We are very proud of this promising young c**t bred by Wolf Hills Farm. He is very solid minded and shows so much try that you will be hearing his name again.

Lil Whiskey Suprise, a 5yo palomino mare, riden by Naomi Taylor was NA Ranch Reining World Champion and 5th in AMA Reining. The mare also placed 4th in AA reining riden by Woody Taylor. This stunning mare is really getting solid in the reining plus you can keep an eye out for her in the cow horse events in the near future.

Mammashairtrigger, a 15 yo gelding owned and riden by Krissy Eaves was Youth Herd Work 18 and Under World Champion and also placed 8th in Youth 18 and Under Ranch Reining! Krissy’s hard work and dedication paid off in a big way when she won this Herd Work World Championship by several points. We are proud of you Krissy!

Mr Peppy Starlena, is a 14 yo stallion owned by Taylor Ranch and is a once in a lifetime horse that always steps up to the plate! Peppy was America’s Top Ranch Hand overall Reserve World Champion, America’s Top Ranch Hand Cow Catching division Reserve World Champion, 3rd in AA Working Ranch Horse and 10th place in SR Herd Work, riden by Woody Taylor.

For any program to have this level of success against hundreds of entries is simply a reflection of the commitment, hard work and dedication of all the staff and clients at Taylor Ranch.

Taylor Ranch had amazing success at the ORHA show this past weekend! MR Peppy Starlena placed 1st in AA Herd Work and layed down a blistering steer stopping type run to win the AA Cow Catching class, riden by Woody Taylor. He also placed 2nd in NA Ranch Cutting and NA Ranch Reining, and 4th in AMA Herd Work, riden and owned by Naomi Taylor. What a great stallion!

Shine on Diamonds, owned and bred by Wolf Hills Farm and riden by Woody Taylor continued his successful season by placing 2nd in the AA Herd Work out of 28 entries and 2nd in the AA Ranch Reining. Congratulations Wolf Hills Farms!

Steady LIl Gunner, AKA “Mr. Consistency” owned and riden by Wes Brown, placed 2nd in NA Ranch Reining and 8th in his first Ranch Cutting class. Wes also had some great runs on his new 3 YO stallion IMA Einstein. Congratulations Wes!

Maggie’s Mirri Image, owned by Cassie Mace trained and riden by Woody Taylor, was spectacular in her first ARHA show placing 10th out of 23 in her very first cow class, and 7th in AA Ranch Reining! This young mare has a bright future, thanks and congratulations Cassie!

Peppy Tinhorn Tivio, owned by Woody Taylor and riden by Abbie Smith, won the Youth Herd Work! SR Apple Jack, owned and riden by Abbie, placed 3rd in the AA Ranch Cutting! Their very first Ranch Cutting class! Congratulations and way to go Abbie!!

Mamashairtrigger, owned and riden by Krystal Eaves, won the Youth Ranch Boxing! She did an amazing job holding a super tough cow and has show such improvement over the past few months! Way to go!

Our assistant trainer, Ethan Dunlap got his feet wet this weekend by getting experience in the AA Ranch Boxing, AA Ranch Cutting, AA Ranch Roping and AA Cow Catching! With his great work ethic and talent you will be seeing a lot more of Ethan! Great job!

All of our riders have shown great improvements and we are looking forward to even more in the future!
