Inside our store we carry a variety of animals plus a wide selection of supplies for their care. Animal Trax in Madison is located along the railroad tracks in the historic downtown area. This is one of our Crested Geckos that's looking for a new home! She hatched on June 24th, 2025. This type of gecko enjoys a tropical environment with lots of greenery and branches to climb. We are feeding them a mix of Pangea or Repashy gecko diet along with ~10 crickets once a week. Crested Geckos can live upwards of 15 years. This is one of the Leopard Pied Ball Pythons that's looking for a new home! We currently have two boys and they hatched on February 18, 2026. They are eating on a weekly schedule and are doing well with handling. They are still a little shy but as they grow and get used to handling they'll become more outgoing. Ball Pythons enjoy a tropical environment with branches to climb and require a humidity range of 60-80%. This type of snake can live 30+ years and will grow to be around 4-5 feet as an adult. We have 3 White's Tree Frogs available! This type of frog can live upwards of 20 years and can be in groups as long as they are the same size. In their enclosure they will need lots of cork pieces, ledges, greenery, and a shallow water dish. They cannot handle high humidity so it will need to stay around 30-50%. Misting or having too wet of an environment can cause bacterial infections. Keeping a clean water dish or adding water to the substrate occasionally is perfect for them. These are the 2 Leopard Anoles that are looking for new homes! The first one hatched in the Spring of 2025 and the second one hatched on January 7th, 2026. Both love to eat pinhead crickets and are fairly active. This type of lizard can be in groups or solo, they like a tropical environment with lots of branches and greenery. We have some Red Foot & Cherry Head Tortoises available! These little ones hatched about 2 months ago. As adults they will grow to be about the size of a football, the Cherry Heads will be a little bit smaller than the Red Foots. They love to eat a variety of veggies, some fruits, and protein! For protein we are currently offering them egg, shredded chicken, and mealworms. This type of tortoise can live 50+ years, so please be sure you and your family are ready for this lifelong commitment. This is the Freeway het Pied Ball Python that's looking for her new home! She hatched on October 11, 2023. She does well with handling but is very head shy. Ball Pythons like a tropical environment filled with branches, greenery, and hides. They can live upwards of 30 years with the record being 62 years!
