Everyday we mee

t new animals and people. Volunteers who have completed a waiver and had an orientation are welcome to walk dogs from 8 -3:30 daily. The public is invited to meet animals between 12-3:30 Mon- Saturday. Courtney Proctor-Cross is the Director. When you have questions please message, call, or stop by the shelter. The animals would love to meet you. This page will be updated daily, and we will try to respond as quickly as possible.

Some stories can start out rough, but what a happy ending she's going to have.

Meet Jennifer! This 43 lbs four year old girl arrived at the shelter emaciated, neglected, and afraid. She was a walking skeleton. But with love, care, and time, she's a gorgous, curious, sweet girl who is ready to make a new start. Dog friendly and of moderate enegy, she enjoys play group, though not always in the middle of all the action. She loves attention from staff and volunteers while on leash walks. The happiness she feels is just the beginning of a life she deserves. Come meet Jennifer.

You're missing something special and we have him. 🐾💛💛🐾

Meet Ezra! This four year old, 47 lbs boy arrived at a stray. But he doesn't want it to stay that way. This moderate energy, dog friendly boy is showing off his sweet and silly personality every day. Play group is a hoot and volunteer and staff walks are always an adventure. He would do best in a home with no cats. If you'd like to give this handsome guy a fresh start. Come meet him.

Meet Lex Luthor! This one year, eight month old, 56 lbs boy was brought to the shelter as a stray. He took no time to make friends. This happy, dog friendly, moderate energy boy loves to be loved. Have you ever met a superhero in disguise? You could. 💛🐾💛

Meet Clark! This one year, 10 month old, 36 lbs boy was brought to the shelter as a stray. Dog friendly and of moderate energy he enjoys his new shelter friends in play group. He relaxes and takes in the love from staff and volunteers on leash walks. His sweet personality is sure to steal hearts. And he may or may not be an unassuming reporter with a superhero alter ego. You can never tell.

Meet Charlotte! This three year old, 60 lbs girl was brought in as a stray trying to survive on her own. Dog friendly and of moderate energy, he sweet face is always smiling in play group. Luna believes that wishes can come true. You can make that happen.

Meet Luna! This two year old, 52 lbs girl was adopted from our shelter last year. Then recently, she was dumped at a shelter in another county. She's the epitome of joy with her sweet, friendly nature and boundless curiosity. Luna loves to play and her funny antics are sure to make you laugh.
