Wouldn’t be a satisfying trip to Montana without visiting my guy Tonto!! ❤️🎉🙌 He just the best western trail horse there ever is! Biggest disappointment is that he doesn’t care for carrots or apples, his friends enjoyed but he makes it hard to spoil him when I visit!

Misty 💜💜💜💜 I found Misty for my program in 2023 and at already 23 years old and a USEF record longer than most of my show ponies she was a gift to my students any trainer dreams of finding. She is easy, easy to ride, easy to please, easy to care for. Misty fell into Carousel Farm and said ‘ok I’m happy, how can I help?’ She helped my students trot independently, learn to canter, learn to jump, learn to show and win and on and on she just captured the hearts of countless kids through my program over the past three years. For what she’s accomplished in 3 years feels so short because the impact she’s made is legendary. I can count on one hand maybe how many tumbles have happened off this pony. She is safe and kind and this tribute goes beyond what I can say, there has never been a student who hasn’t loved Misty. Misty is heading to retire at a beautiful farm in Pennsylvania with a little boy that will continue to love and care for her as long as he wants her. She will always remain mine but, as she just returned from competing at the Hampton Classic Misty at 26 is retiring from my program with plenty of love left to give. She does not need to teach anymore kids as a job, she gets to have the best of what it is to be loved by one family with no expectations other than to continue to be the kindest most caring pony anyone could possibly wish for. Please share photos is honor of Misty and stories and show her the love that she showed us!! This pony as quiet and simple as she is has been an incredible friend for so many kids. Let’s take a moment for the brown polka dot dresses!!! I’m feeling very chic to have understood the trend along with this amazing dress maker, my clients and even my little students. As much as it wasn’t planned our fits were undeniably adorably matched Hampton Classic Horse Show this year!! To finish out the highlights is to recognize these final two sisters competing in the 5-7 year old leadline on our beloved Batteries Not Included!! Our summer riding starts with goals of being prepared for this horse show and these two were amazing to be competing with!! Congratulations to all my kids, thank you to all my parents and families that make this enormous show a reality and to my staff that helps us look fabulous and stay organized you know you are amazing!! Thank you all!! ❤️🎉🌟🎠

Children’s Ponies and The Calame Girls take to the Hampton Classic Horse Show!! We talk a lot about peeking at different times of the year and what horse shows are lined up during that year and does that align at the right time to be successful? Often that depends on what time of year you get your pony, how long you’ve been showing in your division and confidence at the time of the horse show. This year Addison and Teddy came with the correct experience that they are a team that trusts each other and their results in the Small Children’s was a consistent 3rd place in each class including the medal!! Now with Andy the timing has us just beginning the Large Children’s Ponies and navigating the 2’6 at this advanced venue revealed some nerves that prevented ribbon riding days. However, upsetting discouraging show days get we have had years together now to know we’ll be ok and we’ll be at the top before long again!! We love Andy so much!! Ellie and Lady!! Another pair that is so fresh into the Children’s division and with more experience they are going to be so competitive. Lady is an absolute star, she takes care of Ellie better than any pony I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. Ellie is elated after every trip regardless of how accurate, the two of them leave the ring gleaming. Lady is waiting for Ellie to get gritty and Ellie relies on Lady to show her anything is possible. Long post about incredible pony kids who love their ponies and are trying their best and gaining so much experience as they go. Congratulations girls, keep going it’s going to be worth it!! 💓🎠✨🎉

Carousel’s Walk Trot Kids Hampton Classic Horse Show blew my socks off!!! High honors goes to CC and Chico for working so hard all summer to be prepared for this moment and you bet they were!! This stunning team earned 5th and 3rd place in each of the Walk Trot C section!! Scarlett and Teddy bumped it up and earned 4th in their second class of C section!! Now here’s the thing… Hampton Classic offers a 5-7 year old Leadline class that neither of my 5 year old students wanted to do it. Both Sienna with Duke and Peyton with Misty have been in Walk Trot all year and this competitive venue wasn’t going to set them back. Congratulations Sienna earning 8th in both classes of section B and to Peyton earning 6th in her second class. Both these sections had 17 extremely impressive kids among them. I am so proud of these riders and our ponies earned all the treats with not one trying to go for the grass the entire show. Practice makes progress and earns these girls outstanding ribbons. Unbelievable!! 💓🎠✨🎉

Hampton Classic Horse Show Carousel Kids LEADLINE!! This year was some of my youngest kids yet and every one of them had the most fun riding and showing with their ponies!! Huge congratulations to Seline, Amelia H., Vera and Millie showing their hearts out in the 2-4 section in the most iconic show ring!! Curating these pony kids annually is a gift, it is hands down my favorite part starting kids so little and seeing them thrive. Thank you to my incredible families that give me the opportunity to guide them into this extraordinary world of pony riding!! ❤️✨🎠🌟

The Calame Girls had a wonderful showing in the Children’s Ponies Old Field Farm, Ltd this past Sunday!! So proud of Addison laying down super consistent and confident trips on both her ponies and Ellie really committing to try hard to support how sweet and willing Lady is with her. Congratulations Addison winning the medal with Teddy and Ellie earning 4th in a big strong field of small/mediums. Addison also earning reserve champion with Teddy in the sm/med hunter division. Ellie earning great ribbons with Lady. Addison also earned reserve champion with Andy in the large hunter division! Great riding with fantastic ponies on a beautiful day! ❤️🌟✨

Our Walk Trot Carousel Pony Kids are no joke!! These four young ladies take this very seriously and get stronger every show. Congratulations Scarlett and Teddy earning Champion! CC and Chico, Sienna and Duke and Peyton and Misty all earning beautiful ribbons and riding really well. They are locked in for next weekend Hampton Classic Horse Show and we can’t wait to see it!! Thank you Old Field Farm, Ltd for putting on such a beautiful show, all our kids had a blast! 💥 ❤️✨

First off has to be our three Leadline Kids!! Old Field Farm, Ltd showing today couldn’t have been better!! Congratulations to little Kenna earning Reserve Champion at her first ever horse show with the best Chloe girl!! Seline and her best pony Duke earned wonderful ribbons really showing off for the judge!! Millie is a character with limited lessons and the best giggles she powered through her classes, hung with her sisters and finally gave up in the middle of the horse show! Leadline is the best part of showing, these kids genuinely love riding ponies and winning prizes. Super fun way to spend a Sunday with family!! ❤️✨🎉
