🐕 It was a Dog Day Afternoon on 12/7, our 1st SUNDAY OPEN at Last Hope Animal Rescue Thrift & Treasures.🐶
Our next door neighbor, FETCH, a grooming shop, happened to be doing Pup Photos with Santa so dogs decked out in Christmas attire sauntered over to us to shop, shop, shop.
Take a peek at our cute canine customers:.
CYRUS, a Brussels Griffon with eyes that express the omniscience of the ages; SAILOR, a Soft-coated Wheaten Terrier, a most agreeable & patient pup; SULLY a Corgi/Chi, proudly dressed in a Santa red sweater
his Mom knit just for him; and TIMOTHY & TABITHA, Maltipoo almost-twins but a year apart in age, parading around in matching reindeer sweaters.
🎄A Merry Thrift-mas to all who visit our incredible shop at 310 New York Ave, Huntington Village.

🐈 REMINDER: "Last Hope Petfood Drive" to support "Nobody Starves on Long Island " from Nov. 8 to Nov. 29.🐕
Pet owners shouldn't have to decide between nourishment for their furry best friends or putting food on the table for themselves.
Never has there been such a need to help fight the rising petfood insecurity faced by owners & caretakers.
Inflation & halted SNAP
assistance is turning pet
guardianship into a luxury.
We don't want people forced to surrender beloved pets because they can't afford tobfeed them.
This truth is tragic.
Therefore, Last Hope is holding a Petfood Drive to supply Gary Kaufman's "'Nobody Starves on LI" efforts.- Gary makes free petfood available to owners at various locations.
Right now, there is a dire need for CAT FOOD- canned &
dry.
YES, dogfood- canned & kibble is desired also.
All petfood can be dropped off at our Wantagh Adoption Center , 3300 Beltagh Ave, Wantagh, NY 11793.
We are storing your petfood gifts inside the big Meet & Greet room.
