This kid received his final notice, and was scheduled for euthanasia at a local shelter. Thankfully one of our amazing fosters raised her hand to welcome this kid into her home this holiday season, and save his precious little life!

He is an older guy, needs some medical, a dental, but didn’t deserve to be discarded like trash or to lose his life!

So help us welcome Frankie to his new life and to the SAFE pack! Your future is very bright!

Help us welcome Winnie to the SAFE pack! This little girl was a medical disaster out of ! She’s an older gal, and her ears are so infected that they’re literally swollen shut! She’s missing huge pieces of hair all over her body. We will do whatever we need to to get her healthy and happy!

Thank you Dana for jumping in and springing this girl, and making sure she gets the medical care she desperately needs! We are so grateful for your commitment to her!

These 3 bay boys are officially ready to find their happily ever afters! They are 10 weeks old, adorable, and momma found her happily ever after last week 🤍

All were rescued off the euthanasia list at a local high kill shelter when they were only 2 days old. Momma is a 5 pound terrier mix. We expect these boys to be a bit larger, but most likly under 10 pounds.

With all SAFE animals, we cover all the cost of spay/neuter, vax, microchip, and we prepay microchip lifetime registration!

Did we mention… We have babies!!! And… We starting the adoption application process 🙌🏻

We rescued Momma and her 3 newborn babies from a deadly high kill shelter after they were tagged for euthanasia a couple months back! Momma is a petite little lady weighing only 5 pounds!Daddy’s breed unknown, but we belive these boys will stay on the small side.

We are accepting applications for Momma Savannah, Monroe, Lincoln, and Wilson! Adoption donation covers all 3 rounds of vaccines, neuter, microchip, and we even prepay microchip for lifetime registration. This little man is ready to find his happily ever after that he deserves! Rescued from oc animal care after being hit by a car and no-one came for him. River sat there for 72 hours, then OC Animal Care scheduled him for euthanasia! We couldn't let them kill him over a broken leg!

Thankfully we sprung him, had our amazing orthopedic repair his fractured leg, with the help of our amazing donors! Now River is healed up and ready to make someone very happy with his amazing smile, and happy Pom energy!

River is 18 pounds, dog, cat, and kid friendly, potty trained (no leg lifting), super happy fun dude, total Pom energy! He would do great as an only pet, or with others. He is just happy to be alive and chase balls, and have someone to love! Watch his cute video on Adopt a Pet link below!

NEUTER HELP NEEDED!!!

A nice lady reached out to us for help. This kid was found dumped in Apple Vally area. In an area where there are a lot of dumped and loose dogs. Apple Valley shelter is one of the highest kill shelters in So Cal (so she refused to take him there).

Needless to say she can’t keep him, she hasn’t found a rescue to take him, we are over capacity (and financially strapped), but we are willing to help to ensure he finds his happily ever after. he needs vetting, neuter, microchip, and she can’t afford. So we are reaching out to help her help Buddy!

On another note… if you are a rescue and interested in taking on this adorable 2 yr old boy, or a potential foster, or adoptor, let us know!

Pupdate: unfortunately this little monkey didn’t end up coming into Rescue. His human went in a different direction.

And another… Emergency foster needed for this little Pomeranian dude named Paxx. He’s 6yrs old, 9 pound, dog friendly, sweet little monkey man!

SAFE will provide all necessities for fostering. You just keep this kid SAFE until we find him his happily ever after person/family.

We sprung this little 6 pound momma and her 3 newborn babies yesterday from deadly seaaca! All 4 where pastdue deadline dogs (meaning they could be euthanized at any moment) 🤦🏻‍♀️

We don’t often jump in take on momma and babies from the shelter because typically other rescues are lined up to do so. But no one had come for this little crew and their deadline date was the 28th meeting they could be euthanized at any time.

Financially, it’s a lot to take on because each one of them will need to be spayed and neutered, microchip, vaccinations, etc. that’s if they all remain healthy and didn’t catch kennel cough or something else worse in that mad place! So any monetary donations are greatly needed and appreciated.

Pupdate: A foster to possibility adopt saw a share and reached out to us to foster this boy! Teddy has been there a couple days and doing fantastic! So thankful for everybody who reached out to help and shared Teddy’s story!

Emergency foster needed for this little Yorky dude named Teddy. We don’t believe in boarding, but at this point that’s where he’s headed if we can’t find a solid foster offer. 

He’s young with a lot of energy and can be a stubborn little guy with a Yorkie attituSAFE Rescue Teamtrained, and does currSAFE Rescue Teamother dogs. He could definitely benefit from some structure and positive reinforcement!
