We would like to welcome these 3 girls to CVRS!!
Originally just two were coming but the pinto mare needed a soft place to land and someone who was willing to look into why her feet are so sore 😞

The little dark mare has eye issues and we will have those looked at to determine what is going on and if she can be helped.

The sorrelish mare is so very cute and definitely needs to be seen by the farrier as she seems a bit club footed.
She is kind of skiddish but given the situation, we shall see her personality as she settles in 🙂

GOOD EVENING!!
Since the old pony we fundraised for passed away before we could get him here to CVRS, we will be bringing two new gals here in the very near future 👏👏👏👏
Clubbed foot mare and a partially blind mini mare.
Cannot wait to go get them here and start their rehab process ♥️
This would not be possible without all of you!!

Good afternoon everyone….
I apologize for not giving updates but some unexpected sadness has hit us and I am just trying to deal with it all.
First of all THANK YOU to all who donated or shared about the old pony we were planning on bringing to CVRS.
Unfortunately he was passed away Christmas morning before we could get him 😞
Now, there are two ways to look at this, he could have been loaded to head to a horrible fate BUT he was safe and well taken care of when he passed.
What happened to him, not sure, it could have been a number of things. This is the life of rescue, unfortunately.
That being said, that evening we had an accident at the barn and I lost my sweet Corgi pup, Fern 💔
Then yesterday in the bad weather, someone slid off the road and into my mom’s car that was sitting in the driveway - its probably totaled 🤦🏻‍♀️
The most important thing is, no one was hurt!!

At this time I just ask for prayers - I just need a bit of time to regroup 🙏
I will do an updated post about our funds and our plan to move forward helping others.

Aged Wonderful pony gelding, 48-50” tall. What a gem, think how many kids this old boy taught to ride? We didn’t jump on him but he is too honest and well mannered not to be broke. This boy deserves a soft landing. Feet need a farrier and he may need some maintenance, little stiff behind .

This good old boy passed away Christmas evening. Thank you to the s**t bags who felt it was ok to take him to an auction. I think he just gave up. God speed good old boy.

~SHE WENT TO ANOTHER RESCUE!!~

Ok - I know times are tough BUT can we all rally to get this sweet girl here to CVRS??
It will be her best Christmas ever!! 🎄
She really needs someone with experience dealing with this type of situation.

LOCATED IN CANFIELD OHIO
Age unknown mini mare, very small around 32” tall. She has horrible teeth, I think we just placed her dad, brother, cousin last week. Pouches on sides full of food, grinders don’t look horrible but not great. Feet and legs seem ok. I’ll be honest I wasn’t even worried about feet or legs after we seen her mouth. Seems quiet and easy to handle.
