It was a cold and wet day at SAR training this weekend but that didn’t stop this girl. She LOVED it and was ready to work. She found the lost party volunteers deep in the forrest within minutes. She corrected her line once at a fork, which is amazing to see her analyzing her work. I had to let her off the long line because she was so determined and wanted to go into tight places I couldn’t get in. She found them, ran back to alert me and took me to them. We’ve never even trained her to do that part, she is so wicked smart. Time to get a Go Pro, Garmin GPS collar (to track our distance and time during training) and some better hiking boots.
