Dinner meeting February 10th , come join us!
Educational dinner meeting at the Marlinton Municipal Building February 10 at 6:30PM.
Dr. Matlick is a Clinical Associate Professor with the Davis College, WVU Extension ad Potomac State College. Darn graduated from WVU with a BS in Animal Science in 1999 and Ohio State Veterinary college in 2002. Dr. Matlick’s first job was at Casselman’s Veterinary Services in Grantsville, MD. He has been with WVU since 2003 and served in various roles in the University as well as clinical Veterinarian. Dr. Matlick started the Potomac State College Heifer program in 2017 and serves on the Wardensville Bull Test Committee. Dr. Matlick will discuss the details of calving management, the emerging cattle disease Theilera and the Asian Longhorn Ticks that spread the disease. Attendance at the meeting is worth (3) pesticide applicator recertification credits for categories 11, 12, and PA.
To attend the meeting, you must RSVP by calling the Pocahontas Co Extension Office at 304-799-4852 by Friday February 6th. For those who would like dinner, there’s a $5.00 charge to help cover the cost.
