WHAT A WEEKEND!!!!

TEAMWORK MAKES THE DREAM WORK!

Tate and Bridget work all training season to perfect these advanced level dogs and it surely paid off this weekend.

We ran 4 NAVHDA UT dogs and 1 GDT. Add in a crazy puppy and p**f.. two days of testing flies by!

Thank you to our clients who believe in us to achieve these goals. Without you- we don’t have dogs to train

Thank you to all the judges and the apprentice, Chris Trina, John Wickeneiser, Troy Van Beek, and Alec Vandenbrink who took time from their lives to judge our dogs.

Thank you to Curt Clemens, Justin Deberg, John Mueller, Jason Munson, Jeff Miller, Wayne Booze, and all of the volunteers who worked tirelessly to gun, plant birds, clean up, feed us, and do all the behind the scenes work to keep a three day test rolling.

Thank you to breeders at Timberdoodle Weims for believing in us and referring clients to us.

And Erica- thanks for being there for me for support on Shockey’s test day.

We have limited availability for our trained retrieve clinic! Bring your dog, a chair, your training tools and your willingness to learn!!! We meet once a week beginning February 5, 6-8pm. It’s an 7-8 week session!

Here at Martinsen’s Red Point Kennel we are dedicated to the success of properly trained hunting and family dogs. Our passion for training dogs shines through the work and efforts we put into each and every dog that passes through our kennel. It all started when we purchased our first Vizsla ten years ago and got involved with NAVHDA. An organization that has done wonders for our breeding program and dog training program. We fell in love with the Vizsla breed through training our girl Ginger. It was then that the love of dog training followed. Tate and I mentored for years with Joe and Jean Rodriquez of R Place Kennels. They taught us how to properly read dogs and allow them to be successful in any venue. We continue to learn from each and every dog. Our goal is to provide a strong foundation of socialization and basic obedience, ultimately developing your canine hunting companion for versatility in the field and water.
