Pretty exciting around here the past couple of days! First of all, I really like my new nursery cameras. This way I only intervene when necessary and can leave my queens in the beautiful peace of motherhood. Secondly, these two litters are full of big, healthy kittens with wonderful moms. They are both exciting litters in the development of our Shimmery (glitter expressing) English Muffins. Reba (the queen of the smaller, four-kitten litter) and Cliff are both glitter carriers so this is our first healthy litter that can produce Shimmery English Muffins. We will be dna testing all four of these kittens. Joob’s litter, fathered by William, produced several minks (carrying both Siamese and Burmese colorpoint) and each kitten has a 50% chance of carrying glitter.
